The only system requirement is the Java SE Runtime Environment version 1.6.0_x (JRE 6).
Once the client is installed on your system, you have a new menu entry on contextual menu: right click on a pdf file and choose "Desk.now", the client will extract WhereIsNow™ keys from the document and it will query the WhereIsNow™ WebService, showing a report window wich will contain the addresses where you can find the newest versions of your documentup -

The only requirement for this application is the Acrobat Reader 8.0 or later.
The client will extract WhereIsNow™ keys from your document, then it will query the WhereIsNow™ Web Service, showing a report window wich will contain the addresses where you can find the newest versions of your document.

Just click the WhereIsNow™ button in your office suite toolbar and you will be alerted if a new version of the document you are seeing has been released.
Office.Now is a suite of add-ins for Microsoft Office 2007 for the WhereIsNow WebService (http://www.whereisnow.com) which allows you to know where is the latest version of a document, with just two clicks.
The system requirements are: - Windows Installer 3.1 - Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 SP1 - Visual Studio Tools for Office System 3.0 runtime SP1 - Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies
If you do not have these components installed on your system don't worry, the installer will download them automatically, even though this will take some time depending on your internet connection speed.
Once the client is installed on your system, you have a new menu entry on the ribbon bar: click on the "WhereIsNow" tab and choose "Open WhereIsNow", the client will extract WhereIsNow™ keys from the document and it will query the WhereIsNow™ WebService, showing a report window wich will contain the addresses where you can find the newest versions of your document.

When you want to find a document, just open Ubiquity (with CTRL+Space bar), and use the following command: whereisnow publisherID documentID.
As soon as you complete the document ID, the command will show more information about the document. Then if you press ENTER key, you'll be redirected to the document.

Currently you can download alpha version only from our site (the application is not code-signed so you need to confirm many messages the mobile phone will prompt you). A definitive version will be released on Nokia OVI Store as soon as possible.
